La lavorazione passo per passo

The process of creating a sweater is long and complex. After careful preparation of the thread, the machines begin to weave according to a precise programme set up by the modeler, following the designer's instructions. The cloths that exit the frame are not stitched, but represent a part of the sweater (front, back, sleeves, neck, etc...). The different parts are then assembled using the linking machine, a circular knitting machine with a crown of needles, on which a cloth is threaded point by point on a crown of needles with infinite patience and skill, then equalised before proceeding to another cloth. The softer the sweater, the more needles there are, up to 24 per inch. When the cloths are ready, a thread passes through to unite them with exceptional results: perfect continuity, without the smallest amount of thickness. A real art. Once the sweater is completed it passes to washing, which together with fulling are the two delicate processes, in fact, that give the finest cashmere its typically soft feel; this can only be done by expert employees with extensive experience in the field of cashmere. In fact, thanks to the use of fabric softeners and other products, the garment's qualities are maintained over time, enhancing its softness. Last but not least comes ironing and quality control. These two phases comprise the sartorial attention to detail that is an integral part of our work, allowing us to deliver a ready to wear garment.
